Protests in 19 cities of Serbia Sept 21st
Alliance for Change (SZP) and Democratic Parties Alliance (SDP) will hold
simultaneous protest rallies in 19 cities of Serbia on September 21st. Apart
from Belgrade, where rally was announced earlier, protests will be held in
Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Sombor, Vrbas, Sremska Mitrovica, Kikinda, Leskovac,
Nis, Prokuplje, Krusevac, Vrnjacka Banja, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Uzice,
Valjevo, Jagodina, Subotica i Pirot.

The rally in Novi Sad will be held in cooperation with Democratic Parties
Alliance (SDP), third major opposition group in Serbia. While SZP announced
peaceful protest, SDP announced "a tour through the Vojvodina's Parliament".
They exclaimed that Parliaments belong to people and they should be allowed
to enter them whenever they want.

SZP coordinator Vladan Batic said that only the regime thinks of civil war
in Serbia adding that SZP is "the civil war brake".

Apart from the rallies Association of Independent trade unions, member of
the Alliance for Change, called all workers in Serbia to go on strike on
September 21st, to show their disappointment with the Serbian regime and
their will for changes. The Independent Peasant Trade Union will block
several roads in Vojvodina for the same reason.
