Sunday, September 26, 1999
More than 40,000 people participated today's anti-government rally in
Belgrade.
From 7 to 8 p.m. (local time) leaders of the Alliance for Change made
themselves available for the citizens, at the Republic's Square.
Around 8 p.m. the protest march trough the streets of Belgrade begun,
and after the march at the Square people of all branches of culture took
part in the protests. Famous Serbian actor, Petar Kralj, read the messages
from Academy members Dejan Despic, Ljubomir Simovic, Milorad Pavic
and Andrej Mitrovic, as well as the messages from Vida Ognjenovic,
Dusan Kovacevic, Biljana Srbljanovic, Ratko Bozovic and others.
Protest ended with the Latino rhythm party at the Square, around 23.00.

Day 5
Saturday, September 25, 1999
More than 30.000 people gathered at the fifth protest rally of the
Alliance for Change in Belgrade, where after the protest march, organizers
held "public trials" of media which spread hatred and lies. During the
march,
demonstrators lit candles at the place where prominent independent
journalist
, Slavko Curuvija was murdered on April 11, 1999. Alliance's leaders made
their addresses, after the rally. In Kragujevac, Alliance for Change
organized
59th protest in a row.

Day 4
Friday, September 24, 1999
The fourth rally of the Alliance for Change started at 8 p.m. (local time).
Some 7,000 people gathered at the beginning of the protest walk,
and between 20 and 25 thousand participated in protest march trough
the streets of Belgrade. After the march Milan St. Protic, historian, Zoran
Djindjic,
Vuk Obradovic and Goran Svilanovic, leaders of the Alliance for Change
addressed the crowd. Protest in Kragujevac was held for the 58th time.

Day 3
Thursday, September 23, 1999
Around 10.000 people gathered at today's rally in Belgrade,
while some 20.000 took part in the protest walk trough the streets of
Belgrade
after the speeches. A public trial was held first. The accused was federal
minister Borka Vucic. We also expect reports from other cities in Serbia
where the Alliance for Change held daily anti-government protests.

Wednesday, September 22, 1999
Today's protests were held in 21 cities in Serbia. On rally in Belgrade,
15.000 people gathered. After the rally, 8.000 people rounded for
protest walk. In Novi Sad 5.000 people attended the rally, in Nis 10.000,
in Kraljevo 5.000. On today's rallies, Milovan Bojic, vice-president of
Serbian government and Leposava Milicevic, minister of health were
"tried" for disastrous condition of public health, medical care and
services.

Tuesday, September 21, 1999.
Protests were held in 20 cities of Serbia. In Belgrade 25.000 people
attended the rally, in Novi Sad 20.000, in Nis 25.000, in Kragujevac 20.000,
in Krusevac 3.000, in Sombor 2.000, in becej 2.000, in Vrnjacka Banja 1.500,
in Zrenjanin 1.000. In almost every city, citizens rounded up for protest
walks
after rallies. In Smederevo, officials of Democratic Party were arrested
after protest walks.
