globe_l: ARA antiwar appeal; appel antiguerre de l'ARA [fwd]

Chers amis,
C'est de la part de l'association Solidarite internationale avec les
travailleurs de la Russie (International Solidarity with Workers in
Russia)
l'ISWoR (acronyme anglais) que je vous adresse cette lettre.
Comme vous , nous indignons aux agressions du gouvernement Poutine
contre les
civils tchetchens. Nous, comme vous, offrons notre soutien pratique a
ceux
qui menent des actions anti-guerre en Russie. Pourtant, je regrette de
vous
informer que l'organisation l'ARA (l'Association antimilitariste
radicale -
Antimilitarist Radical Association) dont vous avez diffuse sur internet
l'appel intitule <Sans Nous, s'il vous plait> n'est autre qu'une
marionette
dont les fils sont tenus par les capitalistes occidentaux.
En visitant le site web de l'ARA , on remarque tout de suite le nom d'un
think-tank de Georges Soros (Open Societies Institute) qui finance leur
presence sur internet. L'ARA elle-meme fait partie de la coalition de
droite
ultra-liberale russe Pravoye Delo. Les types de l'ARA sont de droles de
pacifistes, qui lors des bombardements de l'OTAN a l'ex-Yougoslavie, ont
diffuse des appels a soutenir cette action americaine , au nom de la
paix (!)
L'objecteur de conscience, Neverovski, menace de prison et auquel on
fait
appel de solidarite, n'est pas du tout un objecteur de conscience "de
tous
les jours". Lui-meme militant de l'ARA, il est soutenu dans son action
par sa
mere, candidate sur la liste de l'Union des Forces de Droite (bloc
electorale
ultra-liberale, proche des milliardaires occidentaux.)
Vous voyez, donc, qu'il est impossible de soutenir cet appel. Pourtant
comme
nous n'avons pas assez d'informations sur les autres jeunes soldats,
signataires de l'appel, il serait utile de les contacter et de dialoguer
avec
eux. Leur propre lien avec l'ARA et avec les partis ultraliberaux peut
etre
assez faible, et il serait peut-etre possible de les faire rompre avec
la
politique du Marche . (En revanche il se peut qu'ils soient eux-memes
des
ultraliberaux convaincus.) L'important serait de trouver d'abord un
moyen de
les contacter a l'insu de l'ARA .
Notre organisation l'ISWoR travaille de pres avec des militants et des
organisations anticapitalistes et antiracistes, qui s'opposent a
l'ideologie
patriotique des ultrantionalistes (y compris ceux, tel le parti de
Ziuganov,
dit de "gauche".) Et nous faisons partie de l'organisation neuf
Committee
for Workers Solidarity with Chechnya (CWSC) (Londres) qui vise a
soutenir des
initiatives anti-guerre du mouvement ouvrier russe.

Dear friends,
I'm writing to you on behalf of International solidarity with Workers in
Russia (ISWoR). Like you, we are furious at the aggression of the Putin
government against the civilians of Chechnya. Like you, we give
practical
support to those conducting activities against the war in Russia.
However, I
am sorry to inform you that the organisation ARA (Antimilitarist Radical
Association) whose appeal "Without Us, Please" you have distributed over
the
internet is nothing more than a puppet of which the western capitalists
are
pulling the strings.
When you visit the ARA's website, you will immediately notice the name
of the
Open Societies Institute (Soros think tank), financier of the site. ARA
itself belongs to Pravoye Delo, a right-wing, ultra-liberal coalition.
The
ARA bunch are strange "pacifists" who, during the NATO bombing in
ex-Yugoslavia, distributed appeals calling, in the name of peace, for
support
for the US actions!
The conscientious objector Neverovski, who faces prison and for whom the
document appeals for solidarity, is no "ordinary" conscientious
objector.
Himself an activist with ARA, he is supported in his activity by his
devoted
mother, a candidate on the list of the Union of Right Forces,
ultra-liberal
bloc close to western billionaires.
So you see, it's impossible to support this appeal. However, as we dont
have
sufficient information about the other soldiers who have signed the
appeal,
it would be worthwhile contacting them and opening a dialogue with them.
Their link with ultraliberal parties and with the ARA could be quite
weak,
and it might be possible to break them from the politics of the Market.
(On
the other hand they could be convinced free-marketeers themselves.) The
main
thing would be to find a way to contact them without ARA's knowledge.
We in ISWoR work closely with organisations and activists who are
anticapitalist and antiracist, who oppose the "patriotism" of the
ultranationalist forces (including the so-called left ones, such as
Zyugnaov's party). And we are also part of the new London-based
organisation
Committee for Workers Solidarity with Chechnya (CWSC) which seeks to
support
antiwar initiatives of the Russian workers movement.
